Competition rules:
The 2nd Swiss Table Tennis Open Lausanne is included in the official calender of the ITTF, weighting R3 B4 and will be played in accordance with the ITTF rules. Matches will be played best of seven sets.

Playing format:
Organisation of 2 events :
34 men (singles)
34 women (singles)

It will be played in 10 groups of 3 players on Saturday, the winners of each group being qualified fort he round of the last 16, where 4 seeded players will complete the knock-out stage. The quarter finals, semi finals and finals will take place on Sunday.

The draw for the men and women event will be based on the world ranking published end of October 2011 and will be published on this  website.
